Client: Connection to LSM database cannot be established - LSM 3.6 Business + Prof.

This error means that the LSM.AX2Go service cannot find the LSM database.

Cause

Solution

Path to the LSM database incorrect.

  1. Open LSM.AX2Go Server Management on the server.
  2. Click the Stop Service button to stop the service.
  3. Correct the path to the LSM database in the LSM DB Path field (lsmdb.add).
    You can find the path in the Set-up/Login section in your LSM.
  4. Save the changes with the Apply button.
  5. Click the Start Service button to restart the service.
  6. Click the Connect button again in the State of local services area to reconnect the client to the LSM.AX2Go service.
  • LSM.AX2Go service launched without network connection.
  • LSM.AX2Go service has lost connection to database.

If the LSM.AX2Go service cannot find the database when launching (e.g. due to a network interruption) or loses it during operation, it remains in this status.

  1. Open LSM.AX2Go Server Management on the server.
  2. Click the Stop Service button to stop the service.
  3. Click the Start Service button to restart the service.
  4. Click the Connect button again in the State of local services area to reconnect the client to the LSM.AX2Go service.

Under certain circumstances, an error may occur when launching the service (see Server: Service did not respond in time).
