Server: Service did not respond in time - LSM 3.6 Business + Prof.

This error can occur in the following scenario:

  1. SimonsVoss ID is not connected
  2. The network connection was interrupted when the LSM.AX2Go service was launched. An attempt to connect to the database in the client therefore fails (see Client: Connection to LSM database cannot be established).
  3. The error occurs when attempting to restart the service in LSM.AX2Go Server Management.

If the service does not respond to the start request, there are two ways to correct the error:

Wait for Windows timeout

  1. Make sure that the network connection is stable and that the required ports are open.
  2. Wait approx. 15 minutes.
  3. After this time, Windows detects the unknown status of the LSM.AX2Go service and terminates it on the system side.
  4. You can then start the service as usual via Start Service.

Restart the server

  1. Make sure that the network connection is stable and that the required ports are open.
  2. Restart the server.
