Setting up event management - LSM 3.5 SP3 Business + Prof.
Networking locking devices via RouterNode2 offers many advantages. One decisive advantage is the constant communication between RouterNode2 and the locking device.
In this example, the LSM software is configured to send a predefined email the moment a transponder is activated on a specific locking device at night.
The following prerequisites must first be fulfilled for this request:
- A WaveNet wireless network is set up as shown in the example Creating a WaveNet radio network and incorporating a locking device.
- The forwarding of events has been activated on the locking device as during the step Activating the locking device's input events.
- A service running in the background can detect the events that occur and trigger responses. The task manager also uses this service, which is also configured there (see Setting up Task services).
