You can access the event manager if you have the Business Edition or higher. You can use the event manager to provide a response to events in your locking system. You can configure both the events and responses there.

Communication node in the background

A communication node ensures that events you have added are detected and responses/tasks are executed in the background.

This communication node (usually the CommNode) must run in the background. Your computer may be blocked during this time.
