Creating a building and assigning it to a location - AXM Classic

There must be at least one building in the database. AXM Classic therefore creates a default building for you. Obviously, you can create additional buildings.

  1. AXM Classic open.
  1. Click on the orange AXM icon .
  2. AXM bar opens.
  4. Select the Building entry in the ORGANISATIONAL STRUCTURE group.
  6. The Building tab will open.
  8. Click on the New button.
  9. The window for creating a new building will open.
  11. Enter a name for your building in the Name field.
  12. Enter the abbreviation for your building in the Shortcut field (max. 5 characters).
  13. Select the location to which your building belongs from the Location drop-down menu.
  15. Enter a description of your building in the Description field if required.
  16. Click on the Finish button.
  17. Window for creating a new building closes.
  18. The newly created building is listed.
