TCP/RS-485: Add Radio Radio Gateway Node - Step-by-Step WO

  1. SI.GN.R connected to WN.POWER.SUPPLY.PPP.
  2. SI.GN.R.
  3. SmartIntego Manager opened.
  1. Right-click on the navigation root (WaveNet_XX_X).
  2. The window Administration opens.
  4. Select the option Find Chip ID.
  5. Click on the button OK.
  6. Window Administration closes.
  7. The window Search for node opens.
  9. Enter the chip ID of the SI.GN.R without leading zeros (label or type plate).
  10. Click on the Start button.
  11. Window Search for node closes.
  12. SmartIntego Manager searches for chip ID.
  13. SmartIntego Manager displays search results with RSSI values. (RSSI values indicate the accessibility of the existing GatewayNodes.)
  14. Select the GatewayNode to which you want to add the GatewayNode Radio (usually the one with the best accessibility).
  15. Click on the button OK.
  16. Search results are closed.
  17. Right-click the entry of the new GatewayNode.

    Name assignment by name list

    If you are using a name list (Creating, expanding and importing a name list see), you no longer need to name the GatewayNodes.

  19. The window Administration opens.
  20. Specify the name of your GatewayNode.
  21. Click on the button OK.
  22. Window Administration closes.
  23. Click on the button Save.
  24. SmartIntego Manager contacts the GatewayNode.
  25. SmartIntego Manager assigns GatewayNode device address.
  26. SmartIntego Manager saves routing table in the GatewayNode.
  27. If necessary, repeat the designation for the other GatewayNodes.
  28. If necessary, add further locking devices to the new segment.
  29. Click on the button Save.
  30. SmartIntego Manager contacts the GatewayNode.
  31. SmartIntego Manager assigns GatewayNode device address.
  32. SmartIntego Manager saves routing table in the GatewayNode.

Data loss due to improper termination

The data is not transferred to the SmartIntego tool (WO) until the SmartIntego Manager is properly ended. After saving, the files are permanently saved in the * ikp file in the SmartIntego tool (WO).

  1. Click on the Save button.
  2. Close SmartIntego Manager correctly using the button Exit.
