Create door name list - Step-by-Step WO

The door name list should be available as a text file (*.txt) in the following format:

Use the names of the corresponding doors instead of the terms GatewayNode, Cylinder and SmartHandle. The order of the list entries does not matter.

  1. SimonsVoss QR code scanner installed.
  2. SmartIntego components already delivered.
  3. Physical QR barcode scanner available (Datamatrix code capable, recommendation: Honeywell Voyager 1400g D2).
  4. Door name list of the doors and GatewayNodes to be equipped.
  1. Open the SimonsVoss QR code scanner (chip ID).
  2. Connect the QR barcode scanner.

    QR barcode scanner settings

    The SimonsVoss QR barcode scanner processes keyboard entries in a German keyboard layout (QWERTZ).

    1. Set the QR barcode scanner as a keyboard (normally default setting).
    2. Set the QR barcode scanner to the German keyboard layout (QWERTZ) (Properties - Configuration).
  4. Click on the Load Names button.
  5. The Explorer opens.
  6. Navigate to your door name list.
  7. Click on the button OK.
  8. The Explorer closes.
  9. Reading in door name list.
  10. Highlight the line or place the cursor in the chip ID cell.
  11. Scan the code on the appropriate packaging.
  12. Entire code is read in.
  13. Go to the next line.
  14. Previously scanned code is filtered down to chip ID.
  15. Scan further locking devices and GatewayNodes.
  16. Click on the Save List button.
  17. The Explorer opens.
  18. Navigate to an output directory of your choice.
  19. Click on the button OK.
  20. The Explorer closes.
