WaveNet - WaveNet

Importing the WaveNet topology also removes reset LockNodes from LSM.

The segments of RouterNodes and CentralNodes/RouterNodes with Ethernet connection remain. You must remove these later:

  1. Remove RouterNodes from communication nodes or local connections
  2. Remove segments

Editing communication nodes

Proceed in the same way for local connections (if you are not using a CommNode server).

  1. RouterNodes and LockNodes are reset in the WaveNet Manager (see Best Practice: Reset with the WaveNet Manager and Best Practice: Resetting RouterNodes in the WaveNet Manager).
  2. WaveNet topology imported.
  3. LSM open.
  1. Via Network select the entry Communication nodes.
  3. Communication node overview opens.
  4. If necessary, use the , , and buttons to select the communication node used for WaveNet.
  5. The overview shows the entries of your RouterNodes that have not been deleted.
  7. Select your RouterNodes.
  8. Click the button Remove.
  9. RouterNodes are removed from the list.
  11. Click on the Apply button.
  12. The window LockSysMgr opens.
  14. Click on the OK button.
  15. The LockSysMgr window closes.
  16. Click on the Config files button.
  17. Click on the OK button.
  18. A query about the node-specific storage location opens.
  19. Click the button No.
  20. A query about the node-specific storage location closes.
  21. Confirmation message opens.
  22. Click on the OK button.
  23. Confirmation message closes.
  24. Click the button Transmit.
  25. Data is transmitted to the communication node.
  26. Confirmation message opens.
  27. Click on the OK button.
  28. Confirmation message closes.

Remove segments

  1. RouterNodes and LockNodes are reset in the WaveNet Manager (see Best Practice: Reset with the WaveNet Manager and Best Practice: Resetting RouterNodes in the WaveNet Manager).
  2. WaveNet topology imported.
  3. RouterNodes are removed from communication nodes or local connections.
  4. LSM open.
  1. Via Network select the entry Administer WaveNet node.
  3. The window Administer WaveNet node opens.
  5. In the dropdown menu Network segment select your network segment.
    You can recognize the segment by the fact that there are no more entries in the table.
  7. In the area Segment administration click the button Delete.
  8. The window LockSysMgr opens.
  10. Click on the OK button.
  11. The LockSysMgr window closes.
  12. Click on the Apply button.
  13. Segment is deleted.
