Adding a RingCast - WaveNet

Recalculating the RingCast

If you replace or delete a RouterNode in the RingCast or change its RingCast-relevant IO configuration, the RingCast is automatically recalculated after saving the changes and confirming the request.

  1. WaveNet Manager opened via LSM (see Best Practice: From the LSM software)
  2. RouterNodes and LockNodes connected to power.
  3. RouterNodes and LockNodes imported into WaveNet topology (see Finding and adding devices).
  4. RouterNodes for RingCast prepared (see Preparing RouterNode for RingCast).
  1. Right-click on the WaveNet XX_X entry.
  2. The window Administration opens.
  3. Select the option RingCast.
  4. Click on the button OK.
  5. The Administration window closes.
  6. The window Edit radio domains opens.
  7. In the dropdown menu Select domain select an input for which in Delay [s] you have selected RingCast.
  8. In the field selected routers all RouterNode2 appear for which at the beginning at Delay [s] you have selected the input RingCast (=Domain).
  9. Click the button Save.
  10. Click the button Exit.
  11. The Edit radio domains window closes.
  12. The window WaveNetManager opens.
  13. Click on the button Yes.
  14. The WaveNetManager window closes.
  15. Changes will be updated.
  1. The RingCast is created and will be visible in the WaveNet Manager after a short time.

Save the new settings and exit the WaveNet Manager.
