Prepare door (drilling template) - Digital SmartHandle AX

  1. PH2 screwdriver at hand.
  2. Drilling template available (see Drilling template for variant A3 (Tubular frame)).
  3. Pin or scriber at hand.
  4. Drill at hand.
  5. Suitable drill bit at hand (Ø 7.2 mm).
  6. Countersink at hand.
  1. Insert the spindle into the mortise lock.
  3. Place the drilling template on the spindle.
  5. Align the drill template vertically using the printed scale.
  6. Mark the points to be drilled on the door.
  8. Remove the drilling template.
  10. Remove the spindle.
  12. Remove the mortise lock (PH2).
  14. Drill the required holes.
  16. Countersink the holes with the countersink so that the blind rivet nuts can be pressed into a flush position later.
  18. Fit the mortise lock (PH2).
