Access control - Digital SmartHandle AX

Identification media bookings are logged if access control is activated. The following information is stored in SmartHandle.

  • Date
  • Time
  • Identification medium ID

Each SmartHandle AX can store up to 1500 bookings.

  1. LSM open.
  1. Double-click on the SmartHandle AX entry in the matrix to open the settings.
  2. Change to the Configuration/Data tab.
  3. Enable the Audit trail checkbox.
  4. Click on the Apply button.
  5. Click on the Exit button.
  1. Access control is enabled.

Only authorised transponder operations are logged by default. However, you can also log non-authorised bookings (see Logging unauthorised attempted access events). You will find information on how to read access lists in the LSM manual.
