Prepare door (drilling template) - Digital SmartHandle AX

  1. Pin or scriber at hand.
  2. Drilling template available (see Drilling template for DS variant (Reading on both sides)).
  3. Drill at hand.
  4. Suitable drill bit at hand (depending on mortise lock hole diameter: 8.5 mm/9.5 mm/10.5 mm).
  5. PH2 screwdriver at hand.
  1. Insert the spindle into the mortise lock.
  3. Place the drilling template on the spindle.
  5. Align the drill template vertically using the printed scale.
  6. Mark the points to be drilled on the door.
  8. Remove the drilling template.
  10. Remove the spindle.
  12. Remove the mortise lock (PH2).
  14. Measure the diameter of the fastening holes.

  16. Determine the required drill bit based on the measured diameter.
  17. Drill the required holes.
  19. Fit the mortise lock (PH2).
