Prepare door (drilling template) - SmartHandle AX Advanced

  1. Pin or scriber at hand.
  2. Drill at hand.
  3. Have suitable drill bit at hand (Ø 7 mm; also Ø 6 mm to install round escutcheon).
  4. PH2 screwdriver at hand.
  5. Ruler at hand.
  1. Remove the mortise lock.
  3. Measure the distance (gap between the spindle and cylinder axes of rotation).
  5. Fit the mortise lock.
  7. Insert the spindle into the mortise lock.
  9. Place the drilling template on the spindle.
  11. Align the drill template vertically using the printed scale.
  12. Mark the points to be drilled on the door.
  15. Remove the drilling template and spindle.
  18. Remove the mortise lock.
  20. Drill the required holes.
  23. Fit the mortise lock.
