Backplate mounting

N1 - Long backplate (LS)

You fasten the SmartHandle AX Advanced to an adapter plate. This is screwed on the inner side through holes in the mortise lock and the door.

N1 - Short backplate (KS)

M1 - Security fitting (ES)

Conventional installation

N2 - Mounting in long backplate holes (FR195/SH3062 conventional mounting)

Centre hole is optional (recommended).

N3 - Mounting in long backplate holes (105/145)

Panic fitting

A4 - Panic with narrow cover with backplate/without backplate

A4 - Panic with wide cover and backplate/without backplate

A4 - Panic with wide cover and round escutcheon

A4 - Panic with narrow cover and oval escutcheon

You fasten the SmartHandle AX Advanced to an adapter plate. This is screwed in partly through holes in the mortise lock and partly utilizing blind rivet nuts.

Installation of escutcheons

L1 - Installation in round escutcheon holes

You fasten the SmartHandle AX Advanced to an adapter plate. This is only screwed to the inner side through holes in the mortise lock.

P1 - Scandinavian Oval

Metal frame door installation

K1 - Installation in oval escutcheon holes

Door is not completely drilled through.

You fasten the SmartHandle AX Advanced to an adapter plate. This is screwed to the metal frame doors using blind rivet nuts.
