RTC time synchronisation - RouterNode 3

The RouterNode 3 has an internal real-time clock (RTC) that provides the clock time for many internal processes. In the network configuration (see Network), you can specify an NTP server so that the RTC can be synchronised with its time.

Specifying an NTP server is not absolutely necessary for operation of the RouterNode 3, but is recommended, for example, as part of troubleshooting.

The NTP server with which the RTC is to be synchronised must have layer 1 or 2.
