Special transponder IDs (TIDs) - LSM 3.6 SP1 Basic

The following transponder IDs fulfil special functions and are therefore reserved:

Emergency opening

Enables locking devices to be operated even if they are deactivated or in freeze mode due to empty batteries (Reset freeze mode in G2 locking devices). To perform an emergency opening, the locking system password must be known (=same database or entry of the locking system password). Exception: With LSM Mobile, emergency opening can be secured with a temporary password; the actual locking system password is stored in encrypted form in LSM Mobile and does not need to be communicated.

Emergency release

To permit rapid advancement in the event of a fire, keep the locking device engaged at all times. This is terminated by a remote opening or by Control Device AX (End of emergency release / emergency opening).

Overarching locking level (green)

Enables the transponder to be used in several locking systems within the same database: for details, see Common locking level.

Deactivation

Deactivates locking devices. The locking device then rejects all identification media until they are reactivated. Activation is possible by:

Activation

Cancels the deactivation of locking devices. These can then be operated as usual (see Special functions/Activation transponder).

Overarching locking level (red)

Enables the transponder to be used in several locking systems within the same database: for details, see Common locking level. Supports additional functions intended for fire service operations, such as opening deactivated locking devices.

battery replacement transponder

Enables locking devices to be operated briefly, even if they are already in freeze mode due to low batteries (see Special functions/G2 battery replacement transponder). The battery replacement transponder itself does not operate the locking device; to do this, you need an additional transponder with the appropriate authorisation.
