Remove control device AX - LSM 3.6 SP1 Basic

IMPORTANT

Emergency release due to stolen Control Device AX

A stolen Control Device AX cannot be reset and will continue to send signals to trigger an emergency release. Due to the specific way in which the emergency release signal operates, the Control Device AX can continue to perform an emergency release even after the locking device has been reset.

  1. If a Control Device AX with an emergency release is stolen, replace the associated locking device.
  2. Do not use this locking device again in the same locking plan.
  1. LSM open.
  2. Control Device AX connected to the power supply.
  3. SmartStick AX connected.
  4. Control Device AX is reset (see Reset control device AX).
  1. Use Edit to select the Control Devices AX input.
  3. The Management of Control Devices AX window will open.
  4. Select the Control Device AX to be removed.
  6. Click the Remove button.
  7. The security prompt appears.
  9. Click on the OK button.
  10. Control Device AX is deleted and is therefore no longer displayed in the Management of Control Devices AX window.

Deleting the Control Device AX causes the locking device to require some programming. Then programme the locking device (see Programme locking device).
