A locking device may have to be replaced for various reasons:
Mechanical defect | The locking device is physically defective, but reacts to cards held in front of it. For the procedure, see Mechanical defect. |
Electronic defect | The locking device no longer responds to cards. For the procedure, see Electronic defect. |
