This option equips the Locking Cylinder AX (similar to the WP option; see Waterproof version (WP)) with additional seals, a painted grip element and a specially polished V4A thumb-turn, which are all also suitable for use in maritime environments. Maritime environments include:

• Coastal ports
• Other use situations with saline water in the immediate vicinity
