Reader - SmartRelay AX Classic

  1. Have a slotted-head screwdriver ready.
  2. Fastening material available (four suitable screws Ø 4 mm, e.g. flat or round head screws and, if necessary, suitable dowels).
  3. SmartRelay AX Classic disconnected from power supply.
  1. If necessary, prepare the fastening (drilling and dowelling).
  3. Place the reader on the lid.
  4. Use a slotted-head screwdriver to push one of the clips inwards.
  6. Press and hold the clip down and use the slotted screwdriver to slide the base plate upwards.
  8. Clip stays pressed down.
  9. Do the same with the other clip.
  10. Insert the screwdriver into the hole and lever the base plate out of the lid.
  12. Base plate and lid are separated.
  13. Fasten the base plate in its required location.
  15. Wire the reader (see Connections).
  17. Place the cover on the base plate again.
  1. Reader is installed.
