Your SmartRelay AX Classic informs you of the current status on the controller and the reader.
Signalling on the controller
There are three LEDs on the controller for diagnostic purposes (only visible when the housing is open).
The data processing LED also indicates if the connection to the reader is working:

1 x briefly (red) | Identification medium not authorised |
1× briefly, 1× long (green) | Flip-flop mode: engaged |
1× long, 1× briefly (green) | Flip-flop mode: disengaged |
3 x briefly (red) | Connection to controller established |
