IMPORTANT

Backup failure due to empty battery

The memory of the SmartRelay AX Classic is powered by a backup battery in case of power failure. An empty backup battery will result in data loss in the event of a power failure.

  1. If you store the SmartRelay AX Classic for more than a week, remove the backup battery.
  2. Replace the backup battery every 10 years. If frequent power failures occur, replace the backup battery sooner.
