Sliding door with external button - SmartRelay AX Classic

You can use the SmartRelay AX Classic to secure sliding doors, for example.

You install the controller in a secured area (e.g. inside the building) in this case. You attach the reader to the unprotected side of the door and it can then read identification media.

Users coming from inside the secured area should be able to open the door as easily as possible. To do this, you can use the SmartRelay AX Classic‘s push-to-open function: connect an external button to I1 and O+.

This enhances user convenience without losing control of the door status.

Communication between the reader and the controller is encrypted and secured. This means that no one can tamper with the data. The data read is only processed and evaluated in the controller.

You can provide additional protection for the reader against vandalism and sabotage with an optional protective frame (see Accessories).
