Shorter battery life due to poor contact

Skin oil impairs contact between the battery and the battery holder.

  1. Do not touch the contacts on new batteries with your hands when replacing old ones.
  2. Use clean cotton gloves free of fat or grease.

Dispose of the batteries as per local and country-specific regulations.

  1. Controller disconnected from power supply.
  1. Unscrew the screws for the SREL AX Classic controller cover (PH2).
  3. Remove the backup battery.
  4. Insert the new backup battery (positive pole facing away from the circuit board).
  6. Fasten the cover into place again.
  8. Reconnect the power supply.
  1. Backup battery replaced.
