Increase password security - AXM Lite

Passwords are a key component in your security concept. You can increase security using various settings:

Password must be changed regularly

After the configured change interval has expired, the user must assign a new password.

You can set the change interval yourself using Prescribed change interval (in days).

Lock the user after 3 incorrect password attempts

The new password must not be the same as any of the last ten passwords.

Use password history of the last 10 passwords

If a user has entered the password incorrectly three times, they will no longer be able to log in until they have been unlocked.

You as Admin must delete and create a new AdminAL user in AXM Lite.

High password security

AXM Lite automatically rejects trivial passwords such as “12345678”.

Lock AXM when idle after (in minutes)

If your AXM Lite does not detect any actions within the configured idle time, your AXM Lite is automatically blocked.

  1. AXM Lite open.
  1. Click the orange AXM button .
  2. AXM bar opens.
  4. Select the AX Manager settings entry in the SETTINGS group.
  6. The AXM bar will close.
  7. The window with the AXM Lite settings will open.
  8. Go to the Passwords tab.
  9. Select the required checkboxes.
  10. Click on the OK button.
  11. The window with the AXM Lite settings closes.
  1. New password requirements are active.
