Set up a dynamic time window (time budget) - AXM Lite
The dynamic time window (="time budget") ensures that the identification media in your locking system are regularly activated via the gateway (for further information, see Virtual network).
The dynamic time window in the virtual network differs from the Offline time budget (in days) of the AX2Go, see Time budget (AX2Go and virtual network). For the configuration of Offline time budget (in days) for AX2Go see AX2Go settings.
You have three options to choose from:
The use of this identification medium is not restricted by a time budget. It can be used permanently on authorised locking devices.
After activation at the gateway, this identification medium may be utilised to operate authorised locking devices until the designated time (e.g. 12 noon).
After activation at the gateway, this identification medium may be utilised to operate authorised locking devices until the set number of hours has elapsed. |
This setting is customised for each transponder. It is important to select the correct tab setting:
You can also set a dynamic time window (see Create locking system) within the lock system details. This only applies to newly created identification media (default settings) and does not affect the time window of existing identification media.
If you want to change the time window for existing identification media retrospectively, you need to adjust the settings for each medium individually. It is therefore advisable to set the time budget at the time of installing a locking system (Best practice: setting up the locking system).
