OSS version 1.0 and 2.0 - SmartIntego OSS

There are two versions for the XML exchange between the host system and the SIOSSConfiguration tool:

• XML version 1.0
• XML version 2.0

The main difference is the signature in version 2.0 XML files.

The OSS Configuration tool adheres to the OSS specification requirements when assigning file names.

Data exchange

There are three different XML files:

• Configuration.XML (FullConfiguration.XML (2.0))
• ConfigurationResult.XML
• Events.XML

The Configuration.XML and FullConfiguration.XML (2.0) always come from the host system. Included are tasks and door data.

The ConfigurationResult.XML is created by the SIOSSConfiguration tool after executing the tasks based on Configuration.XML or FullConfiguration.XML (2.0). It contains the result of the activities on the locking devices and the imported locking device data. The ConfigurationResult.xml must be imported into the host system so that all data is visible there.

The Event.xml contains event data for the imported locking device. Event data can include access lists and locking events.
