General - FORTLOX Cylinder

The FORTLOX Cylinder is operated exclusively using the associated FORTLOX Key. Via contacts, the FORTLOX Key communicates securely and in encrypted form with the FORTLOX Cylinder.

During the unlocking process, the FORTLOX Key supplies power to the FORTLOX Cylinder and communicates with it. If the FORTLOX Key is authorised for the FORTLOX Cylinder, the cylinder unlocks.

In future, the FORTLOX Cylinder will be characterised by its modular design, which will make it easy to adapt to different door thicknesses. It will also be available in different variants.
