Intended use - FORTLOX Cylinder

You can install the FORTLOX Cylinder in suitable door locks (e.g. mortice locks in accordance with DIN 18251) and integrate it into a digital locking system.

The FORTLOX Cylinder is available in various lengths and versions. Make sure that your FORTLOX Cylinder is the correct length.

If the FORTLOX Cylinder zu kurz ist, dann können Sie ihn nicht bedienen. If the FORTLOX Cylinder is too long, the FORTLOX Cylinder may be pulled out of the lock.

Do not modify the FORTLOX Cylinder (except to make modifications described in this manual).

IMPORTANT

Operate only with the FORTLOX Key

Only insert the FORTLOX Key in den FORTLOX Cylinder.

The insertable FORTLOX Key complements the FORTLOX Cylinder with several functions required for operation:

  • Electrical connection for power supply and shared use of the radio interfaces in the FORTLOX Key
  • Mechanical connection for opening the mortice lock
