The base station assumes the role of a RouterNode, while the handset assumes the role of a LockNode. During a test, the base station communicates with the handset through the antenna.
This communication is started with the switches and buttons on the mobile station. The subsequent evaluation provides you with information on:
- Signal strength
- Data packet transmission
- Quality of connection
- Utilisation of the frequency band (or interference signal)
