Restoring the backup

If you restore a backup, restore the database to a previously backed-up state.

Backup has no influence on locking devices

The restore only applies to the database. It has no effect on existing identification media and locking devices.

  1. Synchronise identification media and transponders if necessary (see Synchronisation: Comparison between locking plan and reality).
  1. Backup available (see Creating a backup).
  1. Click on the Restore. button on the login screen.
  2. The Explorer window will open.
  3. Go to your backup.
  4. Click on the Open button.
  5. Explorer window closes.
  6. Password prompt window will open.
  8. Enter the password you entered while creating the backup in the Password field.
  9. Click on the OK button.
  10. Password prompt window closes.
  11. The database is restored.
